About Kim

Kim Kirby is an author, songwriter, and filmmaker. She’s the author of the “Joy” book series and “What to do Until He Finds You”. Her latest book, “Mrs. Virginia’s Trust” was published in the spring of 2020. In 2015, she wrote and directed her first short film, LOVE LIKE THIS.

She has been nominated and competed, twice, for best author in Memphis’ Best in Black Awards. Kimberly graduated from UT Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services.
